Immigrant Fire Relief Fund - Here at Unete our organization is hard at work supporting farm workers and immigrants in our community and across the nation. Please consider donating to our farm worker and immigrant family relief fund. The fund will distribute money directly to families for basic needs like food, gas and other essentials in response to the complications surrounding the recent fires in Jackson County. We are also assisting families with navigating community resources. Many immigrant families have been displaced and their homes have been completely destroyed.
Rise and Resist Southern Oregon is doing work, much like Local Smoke Radio, connecting the community and sharing resources to make sure the most vulnerable victims get resources and relief from the recent fires.
Accepting Donations at 301 E. Main Street in Downtown Medford. This organization is a great group of locals working on getting supplies directly to those in need during this troubled time.
The Rogue Valley Relief Fund will go directly to help people most impacted by these fires in the Rogue Valley. In the short term, this fund will be used to directly meet the needs of those who have been displaced by fires—it will buy tents, meals, gas, and other supplies folks need immediately. In the long term, we hope that this fund will support people who have lost their homes in these fires as they rebuild their lives, prioritizing those who have the least access to aid.
In setting up this fund, MRG has responded to the direct request for help from organizations on the ground and those working in the frontlines.
